Topvico Tuya WiFi Panic Button - Online Manual

Q: How to connect WiFi and add SOS button?

Method 1:

A: - Plug the WiFi hub (better to close your WiFi router)

- Open Smart Life or Tuya Smart APP

- Open GPS & Location in your smartphone

- Tap "Add Device" or "+" select "Sensors" from "Add Manually", then tap Alarm (Wi-Fi)

- Input your wifi router account and password, tap "Next"

- Press and hold the WiFi hub configuration button (with WiFi logo) until the blue light flashes quickly, then realease, wifi hub is ready for wifi connect

Notes: please make sure blue light flashes quickly, if flashes slow, please realease button, then press and hold the button again until blue light flashes quickly!

- Select "Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly"

- Tap "Next"

 

If can not connect WiFi as above default "EZ mode", please try AP mode as below, in this mode, need make the light of WiFi hub flash slowly!

 

Method 2:

A: - Plug the WiFi hub (better to close your WiFi router)

- Open Smart Life or Tuya Smart APP

- Open GPS & Location in your smartphone

- Tap "Add Device" or "+" select "Sensors" from "Add Manually", then tap Alarm (Wi-Fi)

- Input your wifi router account and password, tap "Next"

- Tap "EZ Mode" in the right top conner of the app, choose "AP Mode"

- Press and hold the WiFi hub configuration button (with WiFi logo) until the blue light flashes slowly, then realease, wifi hub is ready for wifi connect

Notes: please make sure blue light flashes slowly, if flashes quickly, please realease button, then press and hold the button again until blue light flashes slowly!

- Select "Confirm the indicator is blinking slowly"

- Tap "Next"

 

Q: How to add 433mhz sensors or contorllers, for example sos button?

A: - Go to wifi hub page in APP

- Tap "Accessories"

- Tap "+" to add sos button

- Press and hold the sos button for maybe 1/2 or 1 second, then sos button added, you can press and revise the type and name of sos button in APP

 

If you order doorbell button, please press Music Up Button or Music Down Button to choose your favorite ringtone, then set your hub to pair mode.

Q: Why press the SOS button or tigger sensors, but no action from the WiFi hub? (All connected)

A: - Please check the app, confirm the WiFi hub already armed. If not turn on the arm mode, will not with action after sensors triggered.

- When connect SOS button in app, please choose type "Panic", and Zone mode "24 hours", then press SOS button, will with action even disarm the WiFi hub.

 

Q: Why smartphone APP can not get notification?

A: - Please make sure the APP keep working and not been closed in the background of smartphone, only it is working, smartphone can get notification

- Please open all the permission for the APP in your smartphone, let it notification even screen locked

- Please open your "battery" setup, "battery usage", find the APP, close "power consumption alert", click "APP launch", close "Manage automatically", open "Auto-launch" and "Run in background"

 

Q: How to make sure the alarm been sent out everytime?

A: When you press the sos button, please keep about 1/2 to 1 second, the signal is better

 

Q: How to make the app notification alert you better?

A: Please let user press sos button more times, so your app will get more notifications, easier to get your attention, press 1 time, wait aseconds, then press again

 

Q: Share the WiFi hub with other users?

A: Other users need register different APP account in their own smartphone, can not login same APP account in different smartphone sametime.

 

Q: How to distinguish the APP notification with others?

A: Please setup "notification" in your smartphone, choose the special "ringtone" for this APP.
